birthday surprise!

Ok lol, today was funny!
Ok so we say that almost everyday .
But today was especially funny. I'm surprised no one's blogged about it as of yet..
anyway the last period was maths and surprisingly Pn c was a tad bit late.
So SOMEBODY had this brilliant idea. We found out that it was her birthday last saturday because we heard the teachers singing her a birthday song. (ok so not 'we' lah... i wasn't in school).
Right..so we took the marker pens and drew a big cake on the white board with the words 'HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY'!! Complete with balloons, confetti and candles. Jo Ann kept watch while we drew, (again i use the term 'we' liberally....i was actually sitting down laughing with Lynn, =D)
Then Darshini told us to sing the birthday song the minute she stepped into the class. So we had everything done and ready..we only needed to wait for her. We closed all the doors and Jo Ann kept watch outside.
JA : ok ok..she's coming! 10...9.....8....7........6....5.........5.....5....4...3..2........
we all held our breath in anticipation......
and then she COMPLETELY MISSES THE DOOR and goes to the back!
(probably because we closed the doors, she thought there was a teacher teaching)
And then we start laughing because it was SO funny.
She enters through the front door with a bewildered expression on her face and then we start singing!!!
lol she was obviously happy..then after she finished she asked us to give ourselves a hug from her....haha.
then she said thank you and all.

wait i am not done yet

And then she takes the m3 text book and turns towards the white board.....and gives a really loud 'GASP'. while clutching her heart..
hahaha!!!
we thought she already saw it you know...apparently she hadn't.
and so we started laughing again.

but it was at the end of the lesson that we got our reward....
No HOMEWORK!! YAY!
